He ROBBED our Hearts

Introducing Lititz Bikeworks Shop Manager, Rob Warrenfeltz

Rob Warrenfeltz has lots of looks.

First, there’s the long, flowing hair Rob. He’s the Rob we first met a few months after opening Intercourse Bikeworks.

Then, there’s the short-haired, long-bearded Rob (and we mean long, like, put lumberjacks to shame, long). You might have seen said long beard flowing behind him as he moutainbiked last winter.

Finally, there’s the clean-shaven, buzz-cut Rob. He’s the guy who killed it on the cyclocross circuit this season, easily taking the PACX Category 4/5 Championship.

Yeah, Rob Warrenfeltz has lots of looks, and even with all those changes, he’s absolutely always the same awesome guy. He’s always solid. He’s always dependable. He’s always kind, and he’ll always be one of the most welcomed faces on the Lancaster County bike scene.

Rob has been a part of that scene for most of his life. His passion for riding started young, on a BMX bike. Thanks to a combo of God-given talent and a tireless, fearless work ethic, Rob became a junior national champion in the sport. BMX helped him to see the country and gave him the foundation for the success he has today.

But here’s what’s so cool about Rob. We didn’t find out about his success in BMX until months after we met him. Lots of guys would lead with a bragging right like that. Not Rob. He’s a unique mix of humble guy next-door and fierce competitor.

Pretty great, right? Know what’s also great? That Rob explored a life outside of riding. Definitely not a one-trick pony (in riding or in life), Rob studied architecture in college. In the end, he didn’t see himself as an architect. The career was too laden with politics and red tape. So he came home to Lancaster County and started working on bikes professionally. A desire to wrench more serious road and mountain bikes, and to help grow the local riding scene, brought him to Intercourse Bikeworks.

The day he walked in was one of our luckiest days.

He became a member of the family almost instantly. He’s as honest as he is talented, and as hard a worker as he is a hard rider. He never sits still, he never gives up, and he’s always excited to learn. That’s why it was a no-brainer to ask him to manage Lititz Bikeworks. So much of what you see when you walk through the shop’s doors was built by Rob (that architecture degree came in handy) and so much of the future of the store will be molded by Rob.

No matter what look he’s rocking, clean shaven or bearded and burly, Rob is one face Bikeworks will always stand behind and beside. We’re lucky to have him, and so is Lititz.
